Physician recruitment, connected
Whichever side of the hire you're on, this is where it starts.
Alberta's Approved Jurisdiction Route recognises UK and Ireland training directly — no MCCQE exams, no repeat residency. We handle the paperwork, the timelines and the landing.

Clinic technically closed. Letters and results still waiting.
20:00
Admin catch-up at home. Again.
The pathway
Week 1–2
We confirm your GMC/IMC standing, specialty and eligibility against the nine AJR criteria before anything is filed.
Week 3–8
Certificates, references, verification of good standing, practice history — assembled, checked and submitted as one complete package.
Month 3–9
The College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta assesses your file. We track it, respond to requests and keep you informed.
Month 6–18
Full independent registration, a clinic placement matched to you, and immigration coordinated in parallel.
What's included

Every certificate, reference and verification collected and formatted to CPSA standards.
We chase the file so you don't sit in an inbox waiting for updates.

Introductions to independent Alberta clinics screened for fit, volume and payment model.
Banking, billing setup, housing pointers and the first ninety days of practice.
Alberta's 2026 federal allocation
Alberta-nominated physicians currently draw from a dedicated federal allocation of 10,000 spaces in 2026, separate from the province's standard nominee cap.

Questions
No. The Approved Jurisdiction Route recognises UK and Ireland specialist training directly, so the MCCQE Part I and II are not required for this pathway.
Most complete files move from initial qualifications review to General Register registration in six to eighteen months. The single biggest delay is incomplete documentation, which is exactly what we remove.
Family medicine and most recognised specialties with CCT/CSCST-equivalent training from the UK or Ireland. We confirm your specific specialty in the free eligibility assessment.
Not to begin. We start licensure and introduce you to matched independent clinics in parallel, so an offer and registration land close together.
Our placement service is funded by the hiring clinic. You pay statutory CPSA and immigration fees only.
